Hub Scores Russia Wharf Contract
We’ve been awarded a contract for foundations for the support of historic 105-year-old façades on Russia Wharf in Boston. The project is part of a $275 million complex including condos and apartments, a hotel, a nightclub, and a 31-story office tower.

There's an Art to What We Do
Jeffrey Lipsky has created a unique work of art inspired by Hub’s project at 303 Columbus Avenue in Boston. Some notes from the artist:

“This construction site was getting somewhat of a ‘route canal.’ That inspired some dentistry and teeth imagery on the bottom of the can being set into the ground before drilling out more contents. Greg Maxwell told me about how this procedure would have been accomplished before the invention of the 825 or similar rigs, so I loosely drew cave-art style imagery of two workers shoveling and putting dirt into a bucket onto the can. The worker at the bottom of the drawing can be seen directing the drill operator to sink the drum further down the hole. The danger of working inches from another building is expressed by the thin red line drawn between the can and the white plastic covered building next door.”

ADSC 2007 Conference and Equipment Show in Orlando
Hub sent eight employees and three small children to Orlando to sample the newest drill rigs and Disney World attractions. We added a new PSM 1350 minipile rig to our equipment fleet.
